Burnley Market Hall has recently welcomed a new trader called ‘Is It Vegan’. Is It Vegan is the brainchild of Michelle,
“I’m super conscious about the environment and the fact that we need to do something about it now. We only get one Earth – let’s look after it. Even a little change like refilling your shampoo bottle or washing up a liquid bottle saves so many plastic bottles. We need to act now before it’s too late for future generations.
I will be selling refill pasta, grains, dried fruit, nuts, chocolate, vegan sweets, toiletries, kitchen utensils, bathroom utensils, bath bombs, fresh vegan food, store cupboard essentials and so much more.
I’ve done all the hard work so that you don’t have to check a single label. It’s all vegan and cruelty-free”.
Since its opening last week, it is gaining customers who love the idea of making a small change and refilling. It’s also a hit with vegans who love the idea of not having to check labels and they also love the pick and mix sweeties.
With many people taking more interest in the environment over the past few years, we are certain that this new market venture will be a huge hit for the shoppers of Burnley.
