Burnley’s First Ever Arts Weekender

On Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, everything and everyone artsy is coming to our town in a weekend of varied activities.

From talks to demos, from discussions to tours, there’s something for everyone – whether you’re an art-maniac or think it is “meh.. decent”.

Drink and Draw at One Sixty

Artist and Cafe owner – Jai Redman – will be hosting a session involving traditional lifestyle drawings of fruit and flowers. All this with your favourite cocktail or mocktail and even an modern exhibition by a local artist as well. 7pm – 9pm on Friday and 1pm – 3pm on Saturday.

A Look Inside Burnley Youth Theatre

Get an exclusive look inside Burnley’s newly refurbished Youth Theatre. This is your chance to find out about the dance and drama performances taking place in your town. 10pm – 1pm on Saturday.

Generation Change

Have you heard of Generation Change? A creative group of 18-22 year olds are inviting you and your friends to see what the ambitious young have on offer to the community. The video above video shows their absolutely spectacular light parade in Thompson Park. Impressive stuff!
